Regional Microbiology CPD session (Capnocytophaga canimorsus)

Hi All,

Please see below for PowerPoint documents containing all the slides for those attending the Capnocytophaga canimorsus talk last week.

Also shared is a word document containing Q&A that was discussed after the presentation was over.

Lastly, I have a favour to ask all of the attendees on behalf of Dr Joe Henderson - would you mind filling in a short survey for him regarding the presentation? It can be found here: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/R5LD5GZ

CPD activity 2: Probiotics to Treat Inflammatory Bowel Disease

Synopsis: Scientists have developed a living material approach that uses a strain of genetically engineered E. coli as a locally acting probiotic - the bacteria produce a network of nanofibers that directly bind to mucus to fill inflamed areas of the colon like a patch, shielding them from gut microbes and environmental factors.

CPD Certificate can be printed after completing this activity (click the finish button at the end of the online quiz).
